Long Buckby and Mildenhall Town will have to do it all again on Tuesday evening following Saturday's draw at Station Road.
John Sands gave Mildenhall the lead in the FA Cup tie but the visitors were pegged back by Louis Pilgrim just after the break.
Hosts Buckby started the brighter of the two teams and would have taken an early lead but for David Cooper who got back on the goal line to deny Courtney Herbert.
As the half went on Mildenhall settled well and on 28 minutes they took the lead. Ryan Foster and Luke Bailey linked neatly down the left hand side before Bailey sent over an inviting cross. Sands was left unmarked at the back post and from a tight angle he smashed the ball past Ollie Urguhart.
The away side were now firmly in control and minutes later Sands went agonizingly close to doubling his and Mildenhall's account for the afternoon. The forward collected a long pass from Cooper before turning and firing at goal from 25 yards. Unfortunately his effort rattled the cross bar before being cleared to safety.
Mildenhall took the lead into the break but that advantage lasted just four minutes into the second half.
A cross from the right evaded everyone accept Pilgrim who was lurking at the back post to turn the ball home from close range.
Aaron Turner and Ryan Foster both had chances to win the game for Mildenhall, while up the other end Nathan Clarke and Dave Werthman stood tall to deny the home side any joy going forward.
The sides now meet this Tuesday at Recreation Way - kick off 8pm.
